Hosted by: National Police Agency

In 2025, a year marked by record-breaking heat, Tokyo reached a scorching 37°C on this day. Inside the Nippon Budokan, 109 male and 93 female police officers selected from prefectures across Japan engaged in fierce battles that seemed to intensify the heat even further.

The men’s championship title went once again to Hoshiko Keita (Metropolitan Police Department), achieving his second consecutive and third overall victory. In the women’s division, Matsumoto Chika (Kanagawa) celebrated her first-ever championship, becoming the third winner from Kanagawa Prefecture.

The runner-up positions went to Kano Seiya (Metropolitan Police Department) and Takahashi Moeko (Kanagawa), the latter repeating her performance from last year.

Third place honors were earned by Sanada Hiroyuki (Kanagawa), Mizuta Chihiro (Fukuoka), Matsumoto Mizuki (Kanagawa), and Mizukawa Haruna (Osaka).
