The 12th All Japan Invitational Kendo 7th Dan Championship

On Sunday, February 8, 2025, the 12th All Japan Invitational Kendo 7th Dan Championship will take place at Higashin Arena in Sumida Ward. This prestigious tournament brings together 16 highly skilled 7th Dan Kenshi, all of whom have achieved remarkable success in competitions such as the All Japan KENDO Championship, the World Kendo Championships, the All Japan Police Championship, and the All JapanTeachers’ Championship.

The tournament consists of a preliminary league stage followed by a final knockout stage. During the preliminary league, participants are divided into groups of four, and each group competes in a round-robin format. The top two competitors from each group advance to the final tournament, which follows a single-elimination format. Prizes will be awarded to champion, runner-up, and two third-place finishers.
